Who would have known that three friends I was thrown in with 33 years ago as a college freshman would still be some of my best friends all these years later.
Four people, so different in so many ways, bound together by love, respect, memories, plenty of laughter and never any judgement. There have been stretches of time when we haven’t talked as often or seen each other as much, but something binds us together.
We’ve gathered together three times in the past year, and it’s been magical. This past weekend was filled with constant laughter, reminiscing, stories about our own individual pasts, great meals, and – of course – making new memories.
Four friends. Three decades of friendship…and counting.
Sometimes we all need to nourish our hearts and souls. Call, email, text (or visit if you can) with someone you love and who “gets you” unconditionally. The lingering effects of the euphoria will sustain you both for hours. Even days. What a gift for yourself, and for the special friendships in your life.
